Now that is an amusing image. It makes me chuckle often throughout the day.
There has always been and always will be a breaking point for things that are extended beyond what makes logical sense. If that is God's doing, you can be thankful. Money and power are subject to the natural wear and tear of change-as are mountains, oceans, lakes, rivers, glaciers, and any other physical manifestation. This is because there always has to be two sides for any one side to exist and hold meaning. Maybe for once I myself can be relieved that I did not and do not have hundreds of thousands of dollars (or millions...) stashed away in any stock profile or retirement fund. For years I wondered, living in Southern California and making better than average income- "where the fuck is all the money coming from? I can't afford a house in a neighborhood I would actually want to live in..." -I don't know about everyone else, but I remember being taught and believing that with an education, hard work and dedication to a noble career...you too could be entitled to a house, family, cars, vacations, blah blah blah blah blah. It's a fucking mirage! Ha! Buy a wife, err...I mean a house, start a family and watch your well being go to the shitter when you become tired of trying to keep your head above water. Ever heard of "debt-free living?" What the fuck is that? Oh you mean living in as cheap of a room as you can find, no car, no kids, no school, no medical, no insurance? Who walks up to buy a house or condo and says "I got all your money right here, all $700,000 of it...because I live debt free." (???) Not many.
There are fewer of them than there are those that are going to...uh, take out a loan.
The definition of a loan is DEBT.
