Cave Tubing at Caves Branch - Cayo District, Belize

Trying to snap shots during adventure tours at Caves Branch proved to be difficult. Condensation on the underwater housing lense cover for my S6 would blur and fog out shots within a few minutes. The caves were humid and misty. Anyway here are some of the less fogged out photos but still blurry-you get the idea.

Thanks-giving travel time

I'm packed and ready to go. By the end of this weekend I will be in Belize. I have a new camera I hope not to lose; it will be stuck to me most the trip with exception of the ocean. Perhaps by next year I'll have an underwater housing for it, but not right now. My point and shoot that produced all of the photos seen on this blog is going in the water with me. I picked up an underwater housing for it and am looking forward to using it for macro shots. It's pretty damn good at it and I'm hoping to kayak out to the barrier reef at Ambergris Caye and photograph the critters hiding out in the coral reefs. I will also be visiting Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Mexico Rocks. The Cayo district should be interesting as it was flooded out at the end of October. Much damage was done. I am told all is well where I am headed...we shall see, I'm going.
